Motorola has finally launched its much-awaited cheapest 5G enabled smartphone in India " Moto G 5G " with the tagline "Ultrafast 5G speed for all" . This is India's first phone having Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G (5G processor).
Moto G 5G is a Made IN India phone with the latest Snapdragon 750G chipset. Let's take a look at its specs :
Physical Overview: Moto G 5G has Gorilla glass in front and it comes with a plastic back & frame design. It's a tall phone with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a physical fingerprint scanner at the rear, volume keys on the right side & a hybrid sim slot on the left. It comes with a USB Type-c port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dedicated google assistant button & mono bottom-firing speakers.
Weight & Dimensions : The Moto G 5G measures 166.00 X 76.00 X 10.00mm (height x width x thickness) & it weighs 210 grams but has good weight distribution.
Processor: It runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G (5G processor) and Adreno 619 GPU.
Display: Moto G 5G has a 6.7 inches Full HD+ LTPS display with HDR 10+ support & a 60hz refresh rate.
It's a bright display with punchy & vibrant colours. It comes with a centrally aligned Punch-Hole camera design.
* LTPS can provide higher picture resolution but has the tendency to degrade over time as compared to an IPS display.
Camera: Moto G 5G comes with a triple camera setup at back including 48 mp Samsung GM 1 sensor primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, the ultrawide camera of 8 mp resolution with f/2.2 aperture & 118-degree field of view. And the third one is a macro camera of 2 mp with f/2.4 aperture which can even click images with only 2cm distance.
In front, a 16 mp f/2.2 aperture punch hole camera is provided.
Motorola has given multiple modes in the camera app including 240 FPS slow-mo video recording. It can also click Raw Images.
OS: It comes with Stock Android without any bloatware & ads. Presently it is running on Android 10 out of the box & will get Android 11 soon. It has a September 2020 security patch.
Moto gives you the option to customise this smartphone according to your preference. Like all other moto phones, it also has MyMoto Gestures.
Battery & Charging: It comes with a 5000 mAh non-removable battery with a 20 W Turbocharger.
Colours & Storage: It has only one variant with 6 GB of RAM & 128 GB of storage. The colours available are Volcanic Grey and Frosted Silver.
Other Specs: It comes with FM Radio, IP 52 rating(can handle water splashes), Widewine L1, UFS 2.1, LPDDR 4X ram, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC.
